The full-time program is an intense 12 month learning experience that uses an action learning format that places you, the learner, into exactly the type of projects and work situations that you will face as a leader of the information age organizations of the 21st century. The approach is reality based. You will learn basic business concepts, but you will team them in the context of their use, maximizing your ability to both recall and apply those concepts as you move back into the business world. You will develop the skills - communication, collaboration, teamwork - and the personal characteristics - initiative, creativity, and personal responsibility - that are becoming so vital to business success. You will also gain mastery as you regularly access information through the Internet, collaborate electronically over time and space, and create professional caliber, computer-driven presentations.
If you are a high potential working individual with a minimum of two - four years experience, we also have a program for you. Combining a series of short, high intensity residencies and on-line education based on the OU MBA Intranet (forming what some people call a virtual teaming community) the program effectively integrates work and learning.
