The University of Toledo offers both a Traditional MBA and an Executive MBA. Both programs were designed with the working professional in mind.
Students pursuing a Traditional MBA may start their program in any semester. Most MBA classes are offered after 4:00pm. Students may attend part-time or full-time. The University of Toledo allows students six years to complete the program. Students may choose to have a specialization in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, International Business, Management, Marketing or Operations Management. However, students are not required to have a specialization.
The Executive MBA is a lock-step program and meets on Friday evenings and Saturdays (two weekends on and one weekend off). EMBA students take 15 dynamic courses built around three major themes: Entrepreneurship/Intrapreneurship, E-business, and the Global Perspective. This 15-month program also includes a 2-week international study trip. In addition to the aforementioned requirements for admission, five years of professional work experience is required.
Applications are accepted throughout the year. For regular admission, a candidate needs at least a 2.7 undergraduate grade point average, a GMAT score of at least 450 as well as three letters of recommendation and a statement of purpose. An application is available on-line through our website.
